Christmas Cards - Part 2!

Here are some more of the Christmas cards I made this year.
This was one of my favourite cards this year! I used Pool Party card stock, embossed with the Lucky Stars embossing folder. The Santa is from the Get Your Santa On stamp set. That little Santa is so cute!

Here's another stamp from the Get Your Santa On stamp set! This little fireplace lends itself beautifully to colouring using our Blendabilities markers. I used the skin tone markers to colour the fireplace. This is such a simple card, I didn't even add a sentiment. I wanted the fireplace to hold centre stage.

This card looks great in real life, the photo just doesn't do it justice. Using Coastal Cabana ink on Crumb Cake card stock gives a really nice vintage blue effect. I sponged the stars using Whisper White Craft ink with the Stars mask, then stamped the tree from Festival of Trees and the sentiment from the Wondrous Wreath set. A small bow of linen thread finishes the card off. Good news: both these stamp sets are still available as carry-over items from our holiday mini catalogue!

This card and tag set came straight from the November Paper Pumpkin kit. The snowflake gate-fold card is held together with white and silver twine, which was also included in the kit. The colours are Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White and silver.

This next set of cards were inspired by the Nordic Noel DSP from the holiday catalogue. The card on the right features a large block of the DSP, wrapped with white satin ribbon. The ornaments were cut directly out of another sheet of the DSP and adhered with dimensionals. The presents on the left-hand card were cut out of the DSP as well, and adhered in a pile on a white base. This DSP has some amazing patterns and these cards really allow the DSP to shine!

This final card was one of my most popular designs over my Christmas events. The tree image was punched out of the white layer, and because the stamp are photopolymer, it was easy to line up the tree image from Festival of Trees with the punched out shape. Stars were punched out using the Confetti Stars border punch, and put in a shaker frame with a window sheet over the top. Lost Lagoon ribbon was tied around the card, with a white twine bow and an All Is Calm snowflake embellishment attached. The sentiment, also from Festival of Trees was stamped in Lost Lagoon ink at the bottom right hand side of the tree.

Thank you so much for reading this far! If you have any questions about the products I've used, or how you can come to a class to make some cards for yourself, please do feel free to contact me! I'd love to hear from you!
