Pretty new things!!

The new Occasions mini catalogue went 'live' this weekend, accompanied by another bittersweet farewell to the Holiday mini. The Occasions Mini is full of beautiful new products, many with a sweet, vintage-y theme, and co-ordinate so well with the offerings in the Sale-a-Bration catalogue that will be appearing in a couple of weeks.

Here's a wonderful card that showcases a new Occasions mini stamp set, and an upcoming Sale-A-Bration product:
The stamps are from the new 'Tea Shoppe' set, and the layers are cut from the new Labels Collection Framelits for the Big Shot. The Everyday Enchantment DSP can be earned for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $60 order.

To access a PDF copy of the Occasions Mini, please click here. The Sale-A-Bration brochure can be accessed here.

If you'd like to order this stamp set (or anything else in one of our catalogues!), feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to host a workshop for you if you'd like to earn MORE free product!

Berry Monogrammed!

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I will be back in a few days with some New Year cards and class ideas to get your crafting year off right!

For Christmas this year, I wanted to make something personal for my son's Grade 1 teacher; my son has been having a hard time at his first year of French Immersion and she's been extremely patient during the transition, as well as cooperative and communicative with us. I had some 6" x 6" samples of the Berry Blossom DSP, which is in this year's IB&C, and the aple design was just calling out to be used for this gift. I also wanted something non-seasonal, and the DSP fit the bill just right!

Sorry about the glare on this one, the white is really white! I loved the apples on this paper for a teacher, which was the main reason I chose it. I also wanted to use Calypso Coral card stock, it's such a fun colour! Since there is also some Lucky Limeade in this DSP sheet, I matted the DSP on Limeade card stock and used some exclusive Sale-A-Bration Lucky Limeade ribbon (available Jan 24). The monogrammed letter and mat, punched with the scallop square punch were the finishing touches!

I used the scallop square punch again on this one to tie the cards together. This way, I could use all the same DSP I'd already used without having to double up, and the ensemble looks complete. A knotted strip of Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon finishes this card off. I love how everything coordinates with Stampin' Up, I never need to try and match products and colours! The ribbon echoes the purple in the DSP.

This was another design of DSP in the Berry Blossoms DSP pack. I used my Beautiful Wings Embosslit to draw attention to the Wisteria Wonder in the DSP. This design of DSP also helps tie the ensemble together, with both the apple and strawberry motifs :)

Last one, and my second favourite! I LOVE the strawberries in this
paper, I'm already looking forward to summer! This is such a perfect sumer picnic invite paper! Again, the DSP calls for Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral cardstock, and the Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon ties the card together. I also used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, I wanted to use the texture of strawberries to carry the theme all the way down the card.

Thanks so much for looking!
